Educational Resources

This project wouldn’t be possible without the grant funding by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government. The Windrush Foundation is a registered charity that designs and delivers heritage projects, programmes and initiatives which highlight the African and Caribbean contributions to World War II, to the arts, public services, commerce and other areas of socio-economic and cultural life in Britain and the Commonwealth. They have produced KS1, 2 & KS3 Lesson Plans for Studying the Empire Windrush and Caribbean migration. Please feel free to use these resources in your lessons. If you would like to include any of the material in the exhibition in your lessons please let us know how we can help. Please find the links below.
